Adwords tests favicons in ad texts

One of my colleagues has recently made a surprising discovery while surfing on Google. It seems as if the Google Adwords Team is currently testing the delivery of favicons within ad texts in Germany. Here you can see a screenshot of Moritz’s discovery while searching for “mietwagen” (rental car).
Has anyone seen any similar search engine result pages lately?
